It's a 2009 imac that runs windows. It has a 3.1 ghz intel core 2 duo processor, 4gb of ram and an ATI Radeon 4670hd graphics card. Is that good enough??

Have a Zonda I saw at cars and coffee for your time.

Yes, but you'll have to get a graphics patch for it, rockstar games software really is biased towards Nvidia graphics, it wont like your graphics card very much

Looks like it'll run at the minimum.

It'll run, albeit a bit slow and you won't be able to enjoy fancy gfx

I think the biggest problem you'll run into is heat. My MBP has similar hardware to a lot of "gaming" laptops, but it overheats really quickly. The iMac is similarly enclosed.

I'm sure that it will run, but there might be a difference between running strongly and enjoyably and barely generating imagery. Your iMac might be the latter. Also, heat could be a big issue.

Sweet Zonda, super jealous that you got to see my favorite super car in person! Which C&C is that?

Even if it only runs on low settings at a low-ish frame rate, I'll be ok. I don't need super great graphics to be happy- I guess if it runs at xbox360 or ps3 level I'll be satisfied.

The zonda was at San Francisco Cars and Coffee in October. The owner got in and revved it up too- I'll see if I can find the video...

It really depends on how well GTA V is optimized for PC usage. GTA IV was a mess and had ridiculously poor FPS, especially compared to the better looking R* counterparts of Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noir. If Rockstar does a good job you should be okay to play it on X360 levels.

Damn, San Fran is too far away from me. The owner seems like a cool guy though, would love to see that video.

probably not really. Like certainly not...

The graphic card was quite outdated when you bought your computer (basically a low end card of 2009), the processor will die as GTA is known for requesting a crapload of processor resources and well that's pretty much it.

IF it runs at all, it will do 10fps on ultra low settings.

GTA V is not in their database, yet, hombre..
